Governor-elect Jack Markell and Lieutenant Governor-elect Matthew Denn cordially invite the public to take part in events around the state marking their inauguration into office. With the theme of building a better Delaware, the events culminate in a weekend of service, when Gov. Markell and Lt. Gov. Denn will encourage Delawareans to join them in works of service and volunteerism. As part of this focus, food donations will be collected at the prayer service, celebration of the arts, swearing-in and weekend of service.
